I'm pretty confused about if this works or not, and am hoping I can get clarification.
One thread says I can buy a PIE adapter, that will interface with my currently plugged-in adapter, and let me tap my CD button twice to get to the "DJ" option - but my car doesn't do that double press of the CD button thing, so I don't think it will work.
So my main question is this-
Can I completely disconnect the 6-disc in-dash changer, and use something like http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piefrdnaux100.html to hook up my iPod? If this isn't the correct piece, is there a better one?
I am not looking to control the iPod through the radio or anything like that (I will mount it on the dash).
I hope this hasn't been covered, because I did a search and looked through every iPod thread. Thanks in advance for any help.
