That does make me feel better. One of the COPs had a shoddy connection with the wiring harness when I looked at them last, maybe that's it.

Just had a thought. If this was a true misfire, would there have to be a code? I just checked for codes again, and got nothing indicating a misfire. Does this point to something like a vacuum leak instead of a true miss then?

the stock PCM setting for missfires is a count of 200 consecutive missfires before a code will set

Some of the tuners change this value, some make it smaller, some make it larger... for very stupid reasons, there is NO reason to change this,.. but some DO.

you might want to get a hold of your tuner/torrie and see if he eliminated or adjusted the missfire monitor in your tune.

Fixed! It was the coils. And to give a little something back to LvC, I'll ship out the old set of 8 COPs to anyone on here for free. Remember, there's guaranteed to be at least 1 faulty coil in this bunch.. but if you need a set, post here and I'll send them out.
