Interior trunk release

My inside trunk release button doesn't work, any ideas????
Also want to mount front plate on my LS, no holes or bracket, any ideas???
Have a 2001 LS V8, just turned 100K miles, runs great, so far only aftermarket is Enkei wheels and new front upper grille. Have had this car since new. Only "normal" maint performed so far. Lucky I guess.

Valet switch in the glove box. Let me suggest that you read your owners manual as there are probably several other things that you don't know about it.

A couple of "L" brackets from Home Depot, drill a couple of holes in the underside of the top of the bumper (above the grille; they are invisible unless you lay on the ground and look up) and mount the plate to the bracket. That's about a $3 mount.
