Uhhh my interior lights will not turn off. I disconnected the battery and it did not fix it. Has anyone had this problem? does anyone know how to fix it?

At first I thought you meant they stayed on after the bat was disconnected.

Whoops! Check the relay. I'm not sure which one it is so you'll have to check the link at the top for tech articles or look in your manual. I'm not even sure if there is one for the interior lights, you could also check out the dimming switch for the interior lights. Make sure its not broken or something like that.

Is your lights LCD? if they are lots of people have those problems due to the extreme low amount of energy they need to be run off.

LED? They would still go out sooner or later. I just looked it up, in the box in the trunk it is number 5. Swap it with number 4 ( fuel door release ) since you wont be going anywhere and see if that works. If the lights then go out you know it was that relay.

no... im hungover. its a good excuse not to have to drive to ut tailgating also.

my interior lights are factory... all of the interior lights including the mirror lights stay on. i looked in the tech articles but dont see anything about relays. are you referring to the fuse box? i dont think it could be a fuse since the lights work. please help!

i switched relays 4 and 5 and the lights are still on.... this sucks... guess ill be disconnecting my battery until i can get it fixed. any ideas?

Do they go out after the 40 (or so) minute battery saver timeout? (This timer is reset anytime you open or close or lock or unlock a door or the trunk, or if the key is turned on.)

i fixed it.... not sure what it was. i opened up all 4 doors and slammed them... played with the metal trunk latch... popped gas tank and slammed it, switched relays 4 and 5 revved engine and voila back to normal. strange!
