Hello, I am a extreme novice when it comes to cars. After changing out the battery (due to the previous being drained and needing to be jumped everytime you started it). I noticed the interior lights were not coming on....

I wonder the following:

1. Could this be the reason for the battery being dead the first time?
2. Is there a fuse or something that I can simply replace?

Thank You in advance

Check the owner's manual. The I/P fuse panel is on driver's side of the dash. It should only take a few minutes to check them all (but you may lose your radio settings). Best candidate is #4 in the corner opposite the empty circle.

Fuse #8?

Thank You for getting back to me. Yeah, unfortunately I do not have the owners manual bought used....

However I see it is fuse #8 that is constantly blowing. I am going to try to find out what this fuse controls...

Maybe, that particular fuse is the name to my pain.

Again, thank you for responding.
