Unfortunately, folks that remember when a Lincoln was A LINCOLN are getting on in years. (This includes me.)
Also, there's a lot more competition out there now compared to the "Lincoln vs Caddy/Buick Roadmaster vs Chrysler/Imperial" days.
I wish them well, but I don't think I'll see Lincoln come back on top in my lifetime.

Well, the ugly whale grill seems to have made it even if the RWD part didn't considering Lincoln lots now look like a bunch of beached whales lying dead in rows. I could forego a RWD V8 for a RWD V6, if that V6 was putting over 400HP/400TQ out.

I actually don't mind the grille. IMO the mkz front end looks like a whale because of the curvy wide bumper... The grille IMO turned out a lot better on the MKC. And this is just a rendering but the grille looks ok on this photo too.
IMO IMO IMO. I think people are just having a hard time accepting the new style they are implementing. But style changes. You can't have the same grille forever.

Its just too big, different is ok, just make it nice different.

Pretty sure this isn't the right thread but itll do. A thought triggered in my mind this morning as I was driving into work and saw the UGLIEST LS ever... it was silver, with all chrome everything (the pieces on the fender over the wheels, pillars, even mud flaps) with chrome tints or "silver tints," was that if everyone "hates lincoln or the ls" why are so many people buying one WHEN they can afford one? It seems to me a lot of people do like/love the car and wait until it becomes affordable and buy it. Doesn't make sense to me when I constantly see people bashing on the LS (on here) or Lincoln in general.

The grill in the picture he posted is much closer to the grill Lincoln is using now than the one on the MKR concept. They have moved to horizontal grates, and slimmed them down quite a bit. The MKZ was only slightly altered after Max Wolff came on board at Lincoln with a dedicated team. The MKC is the first completely designed vehicle from Wolff and team. I think it's a much better example of where Lincoln is heading design wise.
