Intake

I mean If you have installed cams from a 96-98 cobra. then tuned the car

I still dont follow, what does that have to do with an intake..... And why install cams, its more work than its worth unless its part of a MUCH larger project. Unless that was what you were asking?

If you do a cam swap I think it was Cobra intake and Aviator exhaust cams that would result in the best gains. Dont quote me though, it was something i read and cant find the source on, but I am 99% sure that was right.

He is saying that if you already have 96 - 98 cobra cams installed, what would be better? Gen 1 intake or Gen 2 intake?

Either way it doesn't change which intake. Gen2<Gen1<Cobra. It's not worth swapping a between Mark VIII intakes. 96-98 Cobra intakes are not too expensive and a even though a Gen1 intake is better then a Gen 2 the Cobra is an improvement over either. Not to mention the Gen1 makes is a nighmare to change the IAC. I'll be doing a short runner cobra intake when I can find one for cheap.
