intake issues

I have 2004 ls8 and recently installed the typhoon intake. It sounds and feels great but after turning the car on after installing it.... I got a check engine light. Anyone else experience this and any way to fix the issue. I tried looking for threads on it but nothing. Any ideas?

scan it and get the codes.. then go from there

take it apart, clear the code, then put it back on right.


for starters, did you put the MAF sensor in the right direction?

Get the code ran because it may be coincidental and you're getting a separate problem unrelated to the intake install. In addition to the maf sensor being in the right direction, did you clean it while it was out? All the lines connected and secure? Unplug your battery and try again? Just things I would look for as really nothing else has changed those are some problem points.
