1)Just a cone filter, cut maf from air box. 2)pulled throttlebody and neck, polished neck and cut-off pertruding butterfly screws. 3)Cut off noise supressors. 4)made an air box and some ducting to direct fresh air to the box.

Nice. I stuck this in there. I used the stock air box to grab the air. Put a little mesh in there so bigger things did not go through.I put something in between the black pipe and the cone filter cause it was throwing air directly onto the air filter and it got it dirty where it hit it. There was a round, black spot where the air hit the cone. Now i just have a flap on the pipe so it brings cool air into the filter area but the dirt wont hit the filter.

no offense but that's an ugly set up..you're gonna get all kinda of rocks and debris coming up under the hood. SHAME ON YOU

In terms of it being pretty - the ugly is under the car - could have paint it but why its under the car and its plastic and its exposed to the elements. What I was after was the biggest gulp of cold air possible. Eventually I will replace the intake tube with an aluminum piece(currently unemployeed). I spent $3 on foam insulation and the rest was scrap metal rivots and some enginuity

because of the combination of everything it makes a very noticeable difference especially at speed (40+) and very loud on throttle. If there is any lose it is overcome easily throught the combination

Friday night a manual 350z with exhaust and wheels was making noise just ahead, so I creeped up to him after a few lights. He gave me a nod and I burried the peddle in full auto. Few seconds later after lots of noise we're going neck and neck @ 70mph and I let off cause my wife was starting to get angry- So he was either a really bad driver or the mods have paid off handsomely

think thats bad, i did a burnout in the middle of a busy traffic street today, haha i waited for the 3 cars infront of me to go as the light turned green, then i started spinning them up until the light turned yellow and i went and the cars behind me had to sit at the red breathing in smoke, hahaha what tempted me to do it, i saw a perfect reflection off a glass window of my back tire, so i watched it spin the whole time, hahahaha
