Got my Jaguar S Type Mina exhaust today.

http://www.jaguarxp.com/jagxp/Jaguar S-Type/Performance/STRMina_gallexhaust system.htm

Had to extend the chasis side of the hangers 1" but otherwise fit pretty good.
Adds a nice rumble to the exhaust which along with my CAI sounds a lot sweeter than the stock nothing sound our 2nd gen cars come with.
A little pricey but for me it was worth it and only took about 2 hours to install including cutting the hanger and welding in the 1" extensions.
Of course having a manufacturing fabricating facility made things pretty simple.

yeah the other guy that did a Mina exhaust, I don't think he ever posted sound clips / vids either :wrench

The tips look like they need to be brought out closer to the outside of the bumper but not past it

Right, those are beautiful tips, but it looks like they need to be extended out a bit. Do they clear the bumper?

Looks good. For the price, you think there would be more to it...all the way to the cats.

The more I look the more I like, but I just don't think its worth the money. All it honestly is, is a set of mufflers and those tips being so short in length make them appear IN PICS to be bigger than what I hear they are. I'm just not a fan of big short tips like that but they would be cool if they were longer and reached toward the muffler more.

Yes,
They're a little short. Could use to be out an inch more.
I have some hydraulic body push jacks. May try something with those and a piece of 2 by 4 on the muffler and the other end on a solid piece of the underbody.
If that doesn't work I'll take it to a muffler shop and see what they say.
I have a camcorder and a dvd recorder so I'll see what I can do about posting a video with sound on YouTube.
I'm 49 and have never posted a video before but I'm sure I can figure it out.

Its just as easy as uploading pictures. I gotta hear it my main concern is it sounding to Euro and Buzzing down the streets.

It cruises like stock. It's slightly louder at idle and has a deeper note taking off but there's really more note from the CAI over 2500 rpm than the mufflers.

I'd say more of a hum at low rpms not really a buzz.
Nothing like the bla bla bla roar of my supercharged 97 camaro LT-1 V8 with longtubes, spiral twister bullet and magnaflow catback.
I haven't been in or driven any euro sedans so can't opine there.

I'm gonna redo the hangers and extend the muffler pipes to have the tips sit just past the valence cover by 1/2 inch.
It will be a few days before I get to it.
I have everything I need to do this at the plant and can make it perfect with about 4 hours fabrication work.
Used to be a bodyman many years ago so this is no real challenge for me, just time.
Not much available for our cars so we have to work with what's out there.
After I'm done, I'll make a video with sound and post it on YouTube with a link
as general information for the members of the board interested.

Sounds great....nice camera work lol.

I like how it doesn't really rumble loud at a stand still then when you get on it, sounds damn nice and mean.

any performance difference noticed?

I would say there's some power increase maybe 5hp but not a lot.
The stock exhaust is very efficient but the Mina sound adds excitement and makes it seem faster and more powerful.
I didn't want it any louder than it is.
In the car it seemed a little less loud than in the video but maybe it's just me....

Nice sound!!! So what kind of radar detector are you using? Sounds like Valentine 1?

I have a Valentine1 mounted at the top of the pillar post
and a Blinder M20 Laser Jammer detector with emitters in the lower grille on both sides of the front plate.
The warning light is mounted in the vent panel and the switch to turn it off which is recommended when you get beamed and slow down,
is mounted in the woodgrain next to the pedal adjuster switch.
There's also a loud piercing buzzer behind the dash.
Also like the blindspot mirrors for extra visibilty and safety.

Looks like the new tips melted your bumper cover a little bit?

Ya
that was before I remounted them.
The driver side slipped up a bit and was blowing hot exhaust on the valence.
2 hrs on the highway was enough to do this.
Now that they've been remounted it won't happen any more.
I used to be a bodyman and will fix it in a few weeks.
Too much work and money to replace the bumper cover for that.
Have some light tundra paint and can make it look good as new.

It almost sounds like my system with my flow masters but not as loud and I have a bit more rumble/ATTITUDE at idle.

I like it, its not Euro at all.
