Installed Aftermarket Radio Engine light on??

Well I have a 2001 Ls v6 a little over 100,000 miles, got dvd nav radio installed, and I notice engine light on. Any suggestions on the problem thanks to anyone willing to help.

Get the OBD2 code(s) read and report them back here. Then we may be able to help.

the code is p0174 which i found out is oxygen sensor problem but the people who installed the radio cleared the code. Light off been good but im just waiting to see if it pops back on

The CEL and the code may or may not be related, but the LS electronics are sensitive to electronic variations, that being said, it is best to disconnect the battery when working on any electronics to be safe. You never know what electronic installers have done, we hear all the time about alarm and radio installation and after the fact problems.
