I got my LS inspected by my local ford dealership and they passed it, but this is what the paper says:
"Left rear tie rod boot gone, right rear tie rod boot torn. Tie rods are not loose and therefore do not fail state inspection. Tie rods should be replaced before next inspection due to joint will wear without boot. $506.44 total including alighnment."
Just wondering what everyone thinks about this. Is it a common problem with this car? How unfair is the price? and How soon do you think i should get this problem fixed?
