My DPFE was giving me the EGR low flow signal so I decided to open it up and see what was inside. The two hoses connect to two different chambers with an IC pressure switch that opens to both chambers. As you can see one chamber is full of carbon and the other full of moisture and corrosion. That little IC has tiny holes that can plug up with gunk and cause a fault code. This item is non repairable.
