Hello folks I have to replace my inner tie rod I was just curious how hard it is to do... I have access to a hoist so I'm thinkin I can do it myself and just take it in for an alignment afterward... shop quoted me 220 total to do it... is that worth it? thanks :D

Very easy to do, just make sure you take the pin out before you try and remove the inner rod from the rack and pinion, pull the boot away from the R+P and it's under there, if you try to unscrew the inner tie rod end without removing the keeper pin you WILL strip the threads and need a new rack, count the revolutions taking it off and screw the new one back on so it's not too far out of alignment

is there a write up on it somewhere?... I can't find one... from what I hear it's really easy... just gotta keep aware... I just wanna make sure I"m pulling the right things and such :D... thanks for the info so far though :)

Does anyone have an explosion diagram of the front suspension?

paging Rich!
