INFO on LSE Vs LS Sport

Ok guys, I have an 04 LS V-8 Ultimate and have wondered about the real facts on the LSE and The Sport. What years, additions, improvements were there on the different models and is this true?

The mclaren was never produced

I appreciate your info, and relaize it does get brought up a bit. I searched for the last little bit but didnt know what was true or what was someones "well I heard that this was the numbers" if you catch my drift. I hate bringing up redundant topics but though if I get a clear slate it might help get someone who knows something.
