independent rear suspension

The Thunderbird and Cougar also use the exact same suspension components of the Mark VIII since 1989. Except for the mn12 chassied cars had cast iron rear housings vs the Mark VIII (fn10 chassis) which utilized aluminum. The Supercoupes also had beffier axels.

PREECH on my brother(from another motha), their is pros and cons from this susp. but the ride is alot better i think than solid axles
 
Hey guys! I'm in the Super Coupe Club of America and we have a member running 10.80's on that setup. It's damn strong.
