$10k isnt big money to you? I just have trouble spending like $5k for a SC setup when thats what i paid for the whole car.
 
i couldn't quite tell from the video, but does third gear come in alittle to quick for the power band? Awesome ride!!

Yes the third gear come in way too early and than the converter locksup and the car goes under 5k rpm and like 4psi of boost. I will go to my tuner to do some changes with shift points and torque converter lockup schedule.
 
fun run. i think i met you in 05 at gld for some tccoa meet, i had the silver 98 lsc. you should look in the midwest forum at the cordova thread, kinda far for you but it will be fun

5000 stall converter gets her out if I remember correctly. I think its on 4.10s thou.


Sounds like high 10s no problem, it ran that pass with little effort.

No its not 5k stall converter.I had 5k stall converter non lockup but didn't like it and I went with 4200 stall from dirtydog.The car has 4.10 gears.
 
That would do it.
How hard is the 4200 to drive on the street ?
I would think the 5 k would make it a race car once in a blue moon street car.
 
what kind of exhaust does your car have? Sounds really good. Also the cobra intake manifold - how much of a chore was that to put in (said you do the labor yourself)
 
i am really impressed with the holeshot you get and your times. looks like you beat just about everyone out of the hole with your reaction times too....good job & nice Mark VIII!
