There is a plug that attaches near the intake. Looking at the inside of the tube it looks like a little red filament of some sort. Mine is red near the bottom and black at the top. What is this thing?

Also, cleaning the MAF. Just spray through the small opening? How long does it take for the MAF take to get hot? Just ran it for a min before taking it off.

That red and black thing your referring to is the intake air temp sensor it reads the incoming air temp so it can help determine timing

clean w/ MAF cleaner ? Mines black.

edit: ohh it's supposed to be black. Twist it around and you can see it well.. mine was sideways.

Don't try and clean it mine is black at the tip as well its part of it idk y it is it just is and try to completely take the mafs off from the housing then spray it or let it soak in the solution for a while and gently very gently wipe excess off with q-tip then spray once more

But sometimes the spray alone isn't enough to get wut is caked on the wire though that's where the q-tip comes in handy but roll the q-tip don't wipe as it might tweek the wires
