The rims I want are 18x7.5 with a 40 offset, the tires 225/40/18 from what I have read a 20mm spacer is the way to go, But bullschmidt posted a thred running 25mm spacers and by the looks of it its right on point..

So would this package be suitable for a 20 or 25mm spacer being lowered. Also should I go with a 215/35/18 to better aviod rubbing issues.

like I said before you will have to go measure your car with the wheels off, no one on here has tried the flush look so if you want to find out what you can do you will have to go out to your car and look at it real close. We can tell you what will fit with out rubbing or what will bolt up but you are doing all custom work so you will have to figuire it out with trial and error or try visiting a forum just for lowering cars where all the members have the experience...

also I tried to warn you about getting a stick in your ass, don't expect much other help... you can't go somewhere call all of its members names and stupid and expect their help. so I wouldn't try it on any site or real life... I'll leave you with that

If you read my threads and understood what offset/backspacing are you would know that will not work. With an OE offset of 40 throwing a 20mm spacer on them with give it a 20 offset and it will end up looking like this...

althouh if you plan on hacking into the fenders to flair them out that maybe the depth you want

Thanks, its not that I don't know what they are, I just have no clue on whats the right fit for the Ls once its lowered. I know the rear wells are tricky..

That does tick out way to far, even to do fender work. so maybe I should just stick with with something in the 30-35 range and work with a mild fender work.I saw your 35 and its looks right on point, do you have any more room to come out at all.

You'll need this and this. I don't really know what you're trying to accomplish, but the wheel needs someplace to go when the suspension is compressed. That's why there's a void above the wheel. The only way you'll be able to get the wheel to be flush with the fender is to have zero suspension travel. Good luck with that1 The car will ride worse than a wagon!

If this is purely a show car and you don't intend to drive it, then wheels flush with the fender and no suspension travel isn't an issue. If that's the case, what's the point?

Bull may be at 35 with his spacers but you'll be at 20 with yours.Even though 15mm is tiny, bull is already pushing the limit, so 15mm lower offset than that will set you overboard.

thanks for the info, that's why i'm saying I should stay at 30-35 for the total offset, while it might not be perfect it will give me close to the look. Judging by Bulls car thats pulled off as close to possible.
