Surprised he hasn't added this yet. This is big news to me! :eek2:
"Despite various rumors of a supercharged V8 under the hood, the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V will use a normally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 when it goes on sale in 2008." Long story short it will get the 7.0 Liter LS7 in the current Corvette Z06 which will exert 505hp and 470 lb-ft of torque in a 3800lb car.
This will definentely give the Germans a good run. The E63 and even the M5 but I can't wait to see.

Then, even though this is a Lincoln and Cadillac site, the new Vette Z07 is getting a supercharged 7.0 liter expected to be in the 600-625hp range and around $100,000 to compete easily with the Viper.
