I'm new to this forum and to the LS platform in general. I've sold Cadillacs and Lincolns at the dealership in the past and at the time was not a fan of Lincoln. But once I purchased this LS I found that few things out there ride as well as the LS does.

I found a very rare find. I purchased a 2000 Lincoln LS V8 with the performance package and the stepped-up audio system. It was a one owner car that was manufactured in August of 1999 and was purchased in September of 1999. When I purchased the vehicle in July of 2011 the car had 46,000 miles on it! this car is one of the cleanest vehicles I've ever seen for being almost 12 years old. 46k miles over 12 years = less than 4k miles a year!

However in less than a month's time I've had to replace 2 coils. The last time I had to replace one I decided to just go ahead and swap out all of them, as well as put in new spark plugs.

I do all the work myself, and I'm kind of frustrated that I haven't been able to find a shop manual available online. Does anyone know of/have one available for 2000? I would prefer a real Ford manual, but I would accept anything right now as I can't find anything at the local parts stores. what do you all use? I really need a wiring diagram to wire up my radar detector and satellite radio.

I'm also wanting to know if anyone has a good online source for cheap OEM parts? When I had my Honda there were a number of places that were genuine dealership parts counters that sold everything for cheap. I was wondering if anyone knew of similar sources for Lincoln parts.

I'm also interested in doing some modifications, however I'm not sure I want to mess with it since it's so clean and stock at the moment. What are some of the best looking mods you've seen done?

Here are a few pictures, I know it looks like an old man's car without any tint on it, it's one of the things I have planned for it in the upcoming months.

One last thing, does anyone know of any LS groups the meet in the Houston area?

Welcome

Welcome to LVC. I thank you for resizing your pictures. You will find a lot of posts where the pictures are to big. When that happens you will have to slide the screen left and right in order to read all of the posts in that thread.

Have a good day and nice find on your car.

Nice ride.

I understand you like how clean it is stock but its a much nicer vehicle with mods. Tint and lse grille change the look quite a bit.

Welcome.. Just look around I'm sure you'll find what your looking for here ! if not, ask away everyone is very helpfull !!

Welcome. That's a nice find, wish my 04 had that low miles.

Thanks everyone. I like the look with the clear lights, and I know Tint is a must. sadly my apt just has carports and not full garages so I'm going to need to add tint before the leather gets destroyed in this Texas sun.

where does everyone get their parts from? Is there a dealer who sells online for cheap? honda has myhondapartsstore.com and its a honda dealer out of Oklahoma who sells everything at just about cost and its almost cheaper to get OEM parts from them than it is to get aftermarket from O'rilley's or NAPA or PepBoy's. Does anyone know of a Lincoln equivalent?

>>De-marko

is that just a billet wire grill on your sig. pic or what? who makes that?

Welcome.:W

Several of us members have modded our LSes in different ways. The most popular mods are the BMW M5 lip spoiler off Ebay. and the Mustang Mach 1 front lip spolier.

Lower it, get 20mm spacers all around. Remove front plate. Enjoy your beautiful car.
