I've been with this company five months now and today, the day after my birthday the gave me a $1.50 raise and put me on salary

Congrats!!! However, you will find they work you more hours - but, if you like your job, it is OK, and not being tied to a clock is worth it.

I'm not to worried about not getting paid for any overtime. most of the people don't show up until it's time to start and go home at five, so I'm not to worried.
