So... its about time I replace my coils... I replaced two last spring and its starting to shake again and the check enging light has came on and went off so I'm just about to buy all 8 new coils. Does anyone recommend the coils they sale on Ebay? I see some with a two year warranty and a lifetime... which one is a better quality one though?

Thanks

I dont suggest the ebay coils with 2 year warranty.. I got a coil from them that was sh!t and they never respond back to you about your warranty.. Just spend the lil extra $ and get quality OEM ones from Max at five star.

OEM is the best way to go but when i got my coils i was severely strapped for cash i went the ebay route been working awesome ever since but my next set will be OEM

i remeber someone saying global automotive is legit on here

+1.. I got mine from global automotive off of eBay and have had good luck.. I think I paid about 125 shipped too! IDK about the warranty but I guess as long as they are working good I don't have to worry about it.. I was strapped for cash and seems like they have been a good purchase.. I have had them on for about 7 months and most has been though the winter..

Now I need new VCG's and spark plugs, I think I'm going to go with the pulstar plugs, also anybody know if there is DIY on these around here, let me know I can't find any, I know a professional mechanic incase I fail so help me out.

Get an extra set of coils while you are at it. The Pulstar plugs should kill the coils pretty quickly.

EDIT: I Have a v6 by the way

I have a coil pack in my sights, see if max will respond today if not I may go with the global automotive on ebay, already purchased the pulstar plugs, how much for the gasket kit? and where can I get a clockspring, looks like me and the baby are in for some one on one time.

Broken record time: They're COPs (Coil-On-Plug), not coil packs. Coil pack have two or three coils and fire four or six plugs. COPs have one coil and fire one plug.

Good Info there, I will remember that. So I do not have a coil pack in sight, I have a set of COPs in sight.
