what would you get for a replacement?

For some reason, I always contemplate this question with any vehicle I have...

For me? Cadillac really did with their branding and product, what I thought Lincoln was going to do when they introduced the LS back in late 1999. Cadillac is REALLY succeeding in changing their image from Old Man's cruiser vehicles, to youthful brands.

I was just watching the Cadillac Auto Show 2008 CTS unveiling clip on the homepage, and was quite impressed. 258hp from their BASE V6. 300hp from their new naturally aspirated V6..which runs on regular unleaded. And the new CTS-V is rumored to have around 475hp when it comes out.

But in reality...today, if something happened to my 2002 LSE..chances are, that I would head back to BMW..most likely a 3 year old 540i Sport. A G35 Coupe would be a close second. Love that bodystyle of the fully loaded G35 Coupe Sport.

depends on whose fault the accident is.. i crashed my car the other day and im fixing it..

I like the new caddy and the infiniti but everyone has one.. i might get a new altima only because its so plain that i wouldnt waste my money fixing it..

maybe get an RL or something.. who knows.. good question.. got my head hurting..

If I didn't get a used LS I would not get a new Lincoln. THEY ONLY MAKE 2 CARS!
I still do like the Acura TL, maybe the Lexus IS

yes i drove the newest IS 250, that thing is beyond luxury even tho its the size of the camry. although i didnt think of it to be all that fast under 70 mph (never got above that) but i did dive in a sidestreet going 50 mph and it felt very stable. but the AC TL and Lex IS are good choices if you don't want another LS but something along the lines of one

If I lost my baby today after I was done crying I'd just go down the street to the Lincoln dealer and pick up one of the 06 LS's they still got on the lot or if I somehow could swing it a Jag S-Type R :) of course if money was no issue then Austin Martin Vanquish S no doubt.

Bmw 745li

I dont know your opionion on them but my dad just got a 745LI on Saturday. I know its not in the same price range but that is one sweet car. Black on Black with a hint of wood grain. I finally got to drive it alone today and was blowing past everyone. But then again I have a 2000 v6 LS so im not used to it.

If it happened today? I'd buy another '06 LS. I'd probably look at an MKZ or a MazdaSpeed6, or maybe I'd buy a Fusion to run around in while I wait for the Interceptor to go into production.

I second the Jag S-Type R.
I'd think about it, but I've never been overly fond of the S-Type's styling (the LS is a far better looking car than the Jag, IMHO), and the only Jag dealer around here is about 40 miles from my house.

I agree whole hardly about the looks but let me tell you we got a lot of them down hear and after a while they start to look good especially in R trim but then agine the thought of similer if not better handling and a 400HP Supercharged 4.2L might be clouding my judgment a bit:)

2007 Infiniti G35 sedan or a Subaru Legacy Spec B. The latter could be made into one heck of a sleeper. I'd be blowing the doors off of Mustangs year round with that all wheel drive.

I second that, and the 03 290hp 540i sport with M-package is extremely nice also.

Precisely. That's the exact one I'd be looking for. An '03 540 Sport with the M kit. Great value right now, in my opinion.

It would be between.. CTS, 3 series bmw, G35 coupe, and those new IS 300 or 350's now, right.. Looks like everyone has the same tastes in this forum haha.. casue all of these cars have been mentioned
