well got the car out of storage.....fixed the misfire on the # 7 cylinder so it could be driveable. all is well....then my check brake light shows up on my mess center...ok, i'll just replace the rear bulb.. replace both rear bulbs and everything is good for may 15 miles. On a trip to my friends house yesterday (around 10pm) i felt a slight pull to the left so i pulled into a ace hardware cuase they had good lighting out front. so i'm checking things and notice my back drivers side light was out that i had replaced 1hr before..????? (worked before i left) anywho, a f'n cop pulls up behind me and started hasseling me for no f'n reason.....took all my info ect.....Then this morning when i left my buddies my rearview mirror decided to fall off...ok no biggie....get some glue.....about 5 minutes later it developed a horrible misfire, almost to the point were i thought it wasnt going to make it home (40 minutes)....hmmmmmmm????what next??? then my rear charcoal canisters under the trunk decided they didnt want to be under there anymore.

Jesus....I just got my ign coils so i'm not to worried about that...Its alot of little stuff...Guess i'm just venting.

When are you getting the misfire and what code is it throwing if any... I've got a bad studder at lauch and feathering the throttle around town, seems to go away at idle and speeds above 40, I'm thinking TPS now

no codes yet.....before i had a misfire and it didnt throw any codes but replaced the #7 coil and all was well..... this misfire is alot worse... if i'm gentle on the throttle from a dead stop it doesnt get bad till about 40mph

great day..... fixed the rear canisters from hanging for good. replaced the taillight and reglued the rearview mirror.. all thats left is replacing my coils... not sure if i'll get around to it today though.

What was your canister fix?

ghetto but it works...

last year my tray was rusted really bad and was about to drop them...so i took it upon myself to try and secure them w/o having to buy a used tray...i used hd tape and it worked fairly well but had to re-tape atleast 1 time a summer...
This time i used wire to secure them...i used the 4 bolt holes that the original tray bolts went into. i simply ran the wire from hole to hole and clamped the 2 ends together... did it on both sides.ghetto but it works and it was free

I am swapping out my old tray for one I got from Laser. The old one has rust but is in no danger of falling off of the car. I was going to offer it in the pay it forward thread, but if you want it I can send it to you when I get it off the car.

well good news... drove it for the first time since i got back and no misfire.....i'll just make sure i have my little tool kit and acouple extra coils in the trunk if it decides to happen again ..

If he does not want it, I would be interested. :)

I swapped the one off my parts car when mine fell off, but it's only marginally less rusted then the one it replaced. I'll have to come up with a fix soon, and would prefer that it be somewhat less duct tapey, if you know what I mean.

Maybe the Kid could put together a few more of his trays?....:D
