idea for hood

ok so i was talking to jamie and we were talking about cowl hoods and such cause i want to put my cobra intake on my gen one and know that cutting the hood bracing isnt really a good idea... well i was thinking that it would be kinda cool to have a slight hump like what my cobra does in the center of the hood to clear the intake... what do you guys think? is it possible and would it look right?

there is a pic to kinda show the hump im talking about... dont want the little "scoops" and you all know what a gen 1 hood looks like so i will spare you the pics of my lincoln...

im sure the guy that i have do all my body work could make something like this work and even fab up bracing to go around what would need to be cut out so the hood is stronger im just not sure how it would look on the car.. any input would be appreciated..

You could get two humps from a talon or an eclipse, cut'em down make one. And actually have sheetmetal instead of glass. It would have to be cut good and welded good. Just an idear.

I was actually looking at a 97 mark with those incorporated into the hood so its been done believe it or not...

It was the same color as Lazers car that he totaled... I was going to travel 200 miles to go look at it and before I left I called to remind them I was on my way to get the car.... they told me it was stolen the night before lol
