Alright so why do these say they only fit 99+ 4.6's?

Isn't it the same as the Gen 2 marks? I asked once before, but this 99+ thing is making me second-guess.

I wish I could say for sure, but they should work on 97 up. They are a COP cover. I put them on mine, but I have an 04.

It says 99+ because Mustangs got them in 99 and 90% people don't know that 97-98 mark VIII's have COPs .

I would be willing to bet that they work, Ford probably never even THINKS about the Mark VIII when it comes to Racing parts.... and in 97&98 the Mark was the only 4v to have COPs... where 99+ the rest of the 4v's got them.

Yes, they work. I have GT500 Powered by SVT COP covers on mine. They dress up the engine bay quite nicely.

I have yet to find a set of COP covers that I really really like.... I actually wish that both the OEM covers were just plain....

The only thing I dont like is that the rounded part goes to the back - makes them look like they are on wrong.
