The alternator and the battery run on multiple voltage from 12v, 13v, 14v,!15 & 17?volts with 100% OEM, new Motorcraft
The brand new connector plug that pushed down ontop, connection pigtail saved OUR DAY! I could not find the answer anywhere for many weeks...;( Never got an sndwer!!!

I am confused.
The alternator does not run at 12, 15, or 17. Proper voltage range is 13.8 to 14.8, with normal being 14.2.

Also confused. The LS is RWD, so it does not have a transaxle. Are you asking about the rear differential?

Thank You, with all the misspelling that was generated,... Thanks for responding patiently.
Yes, I was thinking of the rear differential fluid, thanks, sorry.
~ I only use Amzoil Severe Gear and a bottle of FFRP Fiction Modifier in my differential & new gear kit.
~Ford OEM transmission fluid flush at the dealer.
~Mobil1 ATF inside both gear boxes for hydraulic fan & the power steering.
~Mobil1 EP 5W-30 in the 3.9L Jaguar V8 along with a Motorcraft oil filter.
