Can't read - pulled part # from 97 not a 98. Might have to find a local AC shop to rebuild it for you.

The one I had originally found was from RockAuto - but - I put a 97 - not 98. With a bit of work, the part from Four Seasons 55303 may fit in without issues (and that is VERY cheap)

I'd replaced the AC in my Thunderbird twice over 15 years (black death) so I've gotten pretty good at getting that thing in there.

A good AC show could also potentially modify the four seasons one (if it needed to be modified) with longer hoses, etc. From what I know - I believe the back box area is simply a muffler to reduce noise in the AC system (but, I'm not an expert.)
 
I used the T Bird part in my 97. It's aluminum, and has three O rings, but it worked fine. :)
