I Need a California Cat Converter for 2005 Lincoln LS 3.9V8

I have a dented Cat Converter that wont pass smog...The Dealer wants 900.00...I'm looking for a California Approved Converter for passenger side only...I feel like this is such a SHAM because all the CAT's I've seen online for a good price don't ship to CALIF... Any suggestions or references would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Go to your local muffler shop. For ~250, they will install a cat.
