how come when the info center says "low washer fluid" the wipers stop coming on with the squirters on the hood? (hmmmm)

We all know it's a "high tech" car, so maybe it's programmed so the wipers don't come on when there is not enough washer fluid to prevent smearing?? Just a thought......When you fill it do the wipers come on as usual???

I agree, there is probably some long drawn out explanation in your owners manual.

Mine had the same problem when the message was on. I filled it back up and the wipers worked fine.

yea I know it goes away with a refill it just caught my attention.
