Profits at 10 of the country’s largest publicly traded health insurance companies rose 428 percent from 2000 to 2007, while consumers paid more for less coverage. One of the major reasons, according to a new study, is the growing lack of competition in the private health insurance industry that has led to near monopoly conditions in many markets.

How sweet it is.

I just want to thank all you suckers for making me so much money.

You pretend stock made you some pretend money?
Wonderful.
Maybe you'll be able to leave your pretend law firm.
Or donate it to your pretend church.
Or entertain a pretend woman.
Or further your pretend education.

Congrats.

We don't need no stinking competition in no health insurance. It would mean less profits for insurance companies, and less dividends and lower capital gains for me. Thanks, suckers.

Are you trying to say something here. What is the case you want to make.

Have you worked to have the health care regulations changed regarding interstate commerce by allowing open markets across state lines?

Although you are a PITA, I can deal with it as long as there is a method to your madness.

Right now you don't make sense on anything.

So big shot, what are YOU going to DO with all YOUR selfish PROFITS. I'd like to know the charity that will receive your greed.

I just want to thank all you suckers for letting us, the health insurance companies I own stock in, serve as middle men and skim twenty three cents off the top of every dollar you suckers pay for health care. How sweet it is.

We had competition, dude, and there was a winner. Now the winner gets to reap it's 23% reward for doing nothing but being the middle man. It is so sweet.

What's so crazy about you paying us a sweet 23% cut for doing nothing but taking a sweet 23% cut of the money you spend on health care?

Right now you don't make sense on anything.
Just remember, dude. Paying us 23% is the American way.

So big shot, what are YOU going to DO with all YOUR selfish PROFITS. I'd like to know the charity that will receive your greed.
Dude, I've got so much money I don't know what to do with it all. Probably just buy more stock.
