yea, on my way home from my firls house, i was doing about 35 in a 40, he ran right out i had no time to hit the brakes. i broke both of his legs. called the cops, filled out a report, and left beofre they killed it.

noe i sm in need of that black plastic liscnece plate holder. anyone have the part number?

just leave it off, i think the front looks a lot better without it. That was the first thing i did to my LS when I brought it home from the dealer.

well it didnt fall off, its just kind of crooked. if i do take it off, i am going to have some seep scratch marks from when i got hit. if i can find some sort of plastic filler and paint it to match my bumper i will def keep it off.

yeah man, taking it off is the best way to go, plus the front is going to look much cleaner, just my opinion.

Depends on your local laws. Some states will ticket you for not having a front plate. Two I have experience with are Or and Ca. The fine is something like $600 for no front plate. Usually they let you just "fix it" the first time, but the fine is a bigee.

Good Luck,

Jim Henderson

the car looks soooo much better w/o the bracket, IMO, it is illegal here in IL as well, but knowck on wood. I have been rokcing no front plate for almost 2 years now

if its illegal to keep it off like in my state then do what i did, i painted it the same color of my car it looks way better that the black. but if you car is black then leave it alone lol. my current pics dont show it i have yet to update my pics.
