This has been the worst couple weeks I think I have ever had. Im so sick of mark viii's right now its not even funny.
2 weeks ago we get a coolant leak on the passenger side floorboard of the CE. Great it needs a heater core. I think to myself this shouldnt be too hard ive done 2 blend door's in the past and this is like the same procedure. Boy was I wrong. After I got it installed, which was a 4 day job btw, I get overheating issues, no big deal just an air pocket in the cooling system right? Im starting to think otherwise because I have filled the tank every day since the install, which was last friday, and I think its leaking somewhere. Problem is I cant find the leak. It doesnt leave a puddle or anything. To top it off I got a CEL about a VSS and a torque converter code. Im assuming I just left a harness unplugged, but I cannot seem to find it. I will sell this car before I pull the dash out again. Which I have been VERY seriously considering. I just feel I should cut my losses and move on. It doesnt help that the windshield is also broken and there is also a HID bulb out. Im getting sooo frustrated with this car its not even funny.
Last weekend I got the LSC out and put the chrome wheels back on to get it ready for my younger brother to take it to prom, and that has a coolant leak too. Luckily it looks like its just seeping from the bottom radiator hose, and its very minor, but Its just another thing I have to fix.
Since I was on vacation this week I decided to paint the vert. Up until yesterday I was feeling REALLY good about the progress I had made. I got the quarters, fenders, rockers, doors, hood, and deck lid all painted. Well today I ran into some trouble. Lets just say i made some "rookie mistakes." So I have ALOT more work to do, plus put everything back together, plus paint the door handles, moldings, mirrors, and bumpers. On top of that on my way down to the shop last week I noticed it was pulling pretty hard to the right, so it is definitely going to need aligned. I still have to put my new wheels i got for it on, but noticed that 2 of the tires have screws in them. They are pretty much shot anyway, so it will need new tires.
Its going to be an uphill climb to get everything back in order.
I feel like the only thing I can actually count on is the new Impala SS.
When will my luck change?!!!!!!

oh wait the CE is a pos and isnt worth even close to that anymore.
