so i tried to bleed the system and coolant didnt come out from either the heater or the air bleed valve. i followed the steps but never saw any coolant drip out from anywhere. Why is that? Is it supposed to every single time?

You need three things to be true for it to bleed.

1. The system needs to be full or nearly full of coolant.

2. The engine needs to reach normal operating temperature.

3. You can have no leaks in the cooling system.

ill try again, i had coolant up to the required line, the engines temp was a little low but i had it running for around 5-10 min

The V6 procedure is different than the V8, IIRC. On our V6 I never got a stream out of the bleeder valve; just a trickle.

yep

on my V6 I never got a good stream from the bleeder hole, you just have to wait to see that no bubbles are coming out, indicating trapped air. You'll get it done after a few tries.
