I picked up another mark yesterday. It a blk\blk 97 that is loaded with a shocking 164k mi. I got a heck of a deal on it and haven't decided If i am going to drive it, sell it, or par , o don't count me in club 16 just yet. It has a few issues typical of Gen 2's. It needs:
Blend door
Paint
Brakes
02 sensor(s)
Tune up
Steering issues fixed (steering wheel doesn't return)
Front end lube
Broken cup holder and ash try assy
Broken window switches
Missing rear mats
Power tilt\telescoping steering wheel only works when it wants to
Overall the car is in good shape and would make a really good daily driver, but like I said, I haven't decided what to do with it yet.
I tried the seafoam today, by having the pcv vaccum suck up 1\3 of the can, then waited 15 mins, then started and ran at 3500 rpm, but no smoke, it did smooth out a bit tho.
Ill post pics as soon as I find my camera.
