Hydraulic hose help

Hey guys, I'm having the motor replaced in my 2000 LS V8 with a 2002 model engine. Someone else is doing it, the 02 motor is in place but he's having trouble finding where one of the hydraulic hoses go? He said there is a power steering hose and one that drives the fan, but he's got one hose left and doesnt see where it goes? Any help? I'm really ready to get my car back!

Both the power steering and the fan hydraulics go through the cooler between the condenser and radiator through separate circuits.
For the fan it's reservoir to pump to fan to cooler back to reservoir.
For the PS it's reservoir to pump to rack to cooler back to reservoir.

A mechanic that doesn't have access to the manuf drawings is concerning, BTW.
