I was cleaning up my garage and found the hydraulic cooling fan pump I had bought thinking I was going to have to replace the actuator and the pump.
Background: My 02 LS V8 was overheating after driving on the highway for a bit. I thought I was going to have to replace the pump and actuator so I ordered the package from Max (thanks again Max for the deal). After a little more troubleshooting, I ended up just changing out the actuator and my problem was fixed. So now I have a brand new hydraulic fan pump that I'm not going to use.
The pump P/N is XW4Z-8C628-BA and I'd like $135 shipped for it.
If you need the pump and actuator, you can order the actuator from Max at Five Star Ford and it should be about $75 shipped.
Even if you had to buy the actuator, this is a whole setup for about $200 which is quite a bit less than even the discounted price for both parts together.
