Humming noise above 62mph?

When I'm driving on the freeway and am above 62mph, the car makes a humming noise(when I accelerate). At steady cruise, I don't notice it.

Any ideas? It's been doing this for awhile now, shortly after I had the exhaust done.

well unless you want a 2 piece shaft, id fix it.

Ya... I have seen shafts that have some serious material removed... think of how a lathe works...

Some time ago I pulled all the loose foil off mine so that it no longer touched the shaft. Took me a couple of hours! Lol.

Stuff is like string and gets caught up and wrapped around.

Get under the car and look and feel if the aluminum shroud is touching the drive shaft, if it is move it or push it up or do something....
