Hey guys, I just bought an 06 Lincoln LS with the THX and Navi and wanted to install an aux line . I know that PIE makes one but was wondering the model number I should get and how hard is it to pull the navi itself out?? Thanks guys.

Thanks Joe, i appreciate it. Does anyone know a good unit that allows you to add an aux line into the stock navi?

Any of these work?

Thats the link I used earlier but for an 06 the results are way more limited then the 05. I just didnt want to buy the wrong one. It doesnt give any options for an aux line for the 06 with navi.

LS4me, when i use that link the 06 ls doesnt comeback with may options to add an aux line in. the other years do but the 06 doesnt. Anyone have any ideas?

there have been issues where the units dont work right for some people with the 06's

they must have changed something inside the radio's but nobody know what

what are the odds that two rookies would start the exact same thread just an hour apart

(probably about as high as having some jack@ss come in and say the same thing in both of them)

+1 lol

I was going to post the same on here that I did on the other thread, I'll just quote myself

I have read that 06's nav system have something different from 03-05 that dont let it work correctly with ipod interfaces. I have the model of this that is not the S, it works great on mine. This one is probably an updated version or something but it's exactly the same.

It is not listed under 06 LS, no ipod interfaces were. You can do an fm modulator and use the ipod connector with rca inputs and charging wire attached to it, like these

Im glad that people are picking up the slack for me about being an a$$hole since I havent been on here much.

:D

Thanks NYC! Do they have these for each year or is this the only one out there? Either way I'm sure everything is pretty much the same for my 03...

It's mostly the same with the following exceptions.
The V6 is not covered, since there was no V6 option in 06.
Some of the wiper section won't match up since 06 didn't offer the rain sensing feature.
The auto-dim mirror is a little different.

Im gonna be putting in a pair of subwoofers too in the next couple weeks. what the easiest way to hook them up, I know that all the power and the fuse box is in the trunk that I can tap into but does anyone know of or use a good line level converter so I can keep the stock headunit?? Thanks Guys
