How To Install Avic-D2?

Hey guys im having a little trouble finding some info maybe you can help.

Just got a Avic-D2 for the LS now how do i install it correctly? Is this a custom job? Id like to get the unit flush and looking stock. I was told to get the Navigator dash kit but not sure how this ould work.
Any ideas on this subject? How did you drop in your navigation?? Pics would be great too!!! thanx for any info

Some people actually spent $65 on a kit for this car?!? Im making my own. the radio drops right in and sits perfectly flush. I just couldnt find where the VSS is. so im still searching unless someone would like to just tell me?
