This is the resistors you need 560ohms resisitors. They are $1.49.

you killing me bro.:Bang

your using the wrong resistors for your color choice,470 is to low for your vehicle during operating conditions, voltage can run upto 13.4v and up depending on your vehicles electrical needs so you need resistors that will match your vehicle's"running" voltage output.

Props to you for doing it yourself and not being scared to try something new. You're kinda raining on adrst's parade though haha, but there is nothing wrong with trying to help the community by sharing this.

It looks like you do good work so I doubt you'll loose any interest in your kits with this thread. If someone was going to buy your kit, I'm sure they still will even after reading this thread.

Dude is a troll, nothing to see here.. move along.

I dont think he's a troll, he's just posting something he did on his own and is trying to help people, there is nothing wrong with that. You can either try and do it yourself and thats what the forum is here for or you can save yourself the trouble, help adrst's effort to broaden whats available for the ls and buy his kits.

Just like when I started offering angel eye's service but I also provided a how to thread with a video, the options are out there. You could either send me your lights and pay me or just watch my video and do it yourself. Those who wanted angel eyes but didn't want to cut the lights themselves, even after seeing how easy it was, were still going to send me their lights. Just throwing that out there.

Totally agree :) with you guys just alittle upset since his info on the conversion isn't accurate

That's all.I make kits for fun and to enjoy knowing my work is in members cars

So if people are going to do this kind of thing they need to have the right info on it.

Ill be doing a how to for you guys on the parts not covered in this thread.

let me put a kit together and take pics.

Look I might've gotten the resistor part wrong, but Iv realized i made a mistake and the resistor i needed for my led was a 560 ohm resistor and by just getting that part wrong dosen't make the whole project all wrong.

Thanks man for not righting negative feedback on my thread like someother people.

This is the same guy who posted about 10 times about the same thing and it was eventually deleted a little over a month or two ago.

Why do you need to change the resistor ? Is it a different type of led?

The resister he used is strictly for 12v applications unfortunately cars use 13.5v and up to be able to operate the pcm/ecu and all other electronics

So with that said you would need a 560ohm resistor for your white led conversion

:)

With all due respect bro go hate on someone else.

i believe he was just pointing out your error...how to's are only helpful if you give correct information.

if you cannot take constructive criticism then perhaps you should move along, you already have a bad rep from your spam posting.

Lmfaol!,and that my friend is the reason I like you.

Sometimes....don't get all happy an sh..

Lol

My GREEN conversion kit almost done ? lol

Naa, I was kidding, I'm good with the green I currently have.

You could help us resolve our "LED lamp stays on dimmed, needing load resistors" but I can wait until you get your LS.

Reminds me of the time I called in sick from the break room!! Or the time I told the sup I was swapping my 1400 shift for my buddies 1400 shift.

Like bringing water to the ocean.
