Someone is selling one with 195k miles and minor front bumper damage for $2500. It runs great.

1st gen lse is rare, lse manual is very rare. They only made just over 2K manuals total ( ? )

Lincoln stopped production of the manual-transmission model LS after 2002 due to low sales figures; only 2,331 were produced. - Wikipedia

So yes, quite rare at less than 1% of all vehicles produced.
