How much is a navigation/cd player worth? Or where can i get one from if anyone knows. Thanks

If you are talking OEM and are trying to retro fit in a LS with out, you are better off getting a after market unit.

If that is your underlining question.

Depends on the make and model. There are a few choices to choose from. Kenwood, Pioneer, Eclipse just to name a few. Just depends on what you are looking for. I have the new F series from Pioneer in my car, F90. Different prices for different places. Most people on here run ether Pioneer or Kenwood. You just have to compare and decided on what you want and how much you want to spend.

Well ive got a 04 sport v6 and i just wanted to put a navagation screen in it. Would the factory oem work in it and i was looking to spend up to maybe 500. WOuld it just be better to get an aftermarket one?

OEM will fit but if you don't have the wire harness for it or the program on you computer, as stated you are better off getting a after market unit.

How can i tell if i have the computer program for it if i were to get the stock oem navigation.

You do realize that the OEM system requires several parts? Different buttons on the steering wheel, different rear view mirror, dvd reader and hardware that mounts in the trunk, head unit, and GPS antenna. Also, in addition to the wiring that will be missing, several other wiring changes have to be made too. It's a lot of trouble and expense, when the after-market units are mostly better anyway. I have an 06 with factory nav. It's not great, but okay. I am putting a Pioneer in my 04. It's much easier to install, and does way more. (It has a few down sides too.)

Thanks for the help didn't realize it would need all that and i will be going with a aftermarket kenwood thats pretty nice. Thanks for the help. Im new to the ls just purchased it a couple weeks ago and need to do quite a bit to it.
