how do you remove the "coolant bypass hose"?

Im talking about the part that the water outlet bolts to. I can't seem to get it away from the plastic tube that is connected on top of the engine block.

thanks toomanytoys. I guess i didn't search hard enough. When i took the throttle body off i noticed plenty of oil in the intake. I know the 'sdon't have pcv valves but ill search and see if this is common and the solution.

The 3.9 doesn't have a PCV valve, but it does have a PCV system still.

You might check to see if you have excessive blow-by (worn out rings).
