how do i open this?

i am not sure how to get this piece off. i want to get in there to see if something is wrong with the sunroof switch since it closes on its own when the bass hits. is there a relay up there or just the switch. also when i try to open or close the roof i have to turn the music down and wait at least ten seconds before the switch works.

it pulls strait down, clips are tough, try and start with the front towards the windshield.

so i got it open and the switch for the sunroof works but the relay or whatever it is has a huge delay from when i move the switch until the glass starts moving. does the whole headliner have to come out?

did you pull down from the sunroof side first? or the windsheild side. I have to pull mine down as well.

We just went through a mess with our sunroof. I would have sworn up and down it was a switch. Nope. It ended up being the motor itself. Dealer replaced it under warranty. 9 months later...with the car now being out of warranty...the same problem popped up. Dealer did the right thing by us and replaced it again under the parts warranty. I sure hope that problem doesn't pop up again!

i was hoping it is the switch but it doesnt really make sense if it is. im going to the dealer right now maybe they can sell me a switch so i can eliminate that.

i pulled from the windshield side and it is a bi1ch. two snaps stayed in the headliner and i broke the passenger light switch. guess i'm gunna pick one of those up too.
