Replaced both o2 still no distant til empty

Did you push the fuel button on the message center? Do you have a V6??

It's one or both of the fuel level senders in the tank.

Why don't you test and figure out which one it is first?
The senders are part of the fuel pump assemblies, but you can get at least one on them separately.

not really sure why you thought an O2 sensor would have any effect of the computer being able to tell you how much fuel is in the tanks.

that didn't fix it, so i sent them back, what could be causing this?

Wiring between the fuel level senders and the REM.
Wiring between the REM and the PCM.
The REM.
Something else on the data bus.
And so on.
Real troubleshooting with real tools is required.
