i just located a replacement rear neon, i have not seen it yet, but the guy told me it is near perfect, only has 2 small scraches near the LSC on it. he said you can not feel them with your fingers, but you can see them. im assuming if you cant feel them it must be a scuff. he did say definetly not a deep scratch you can feel. maybe he was just being brutally honest and they are no big deal, however if they are, how would i go about buffing them out, and getting that babby to shine :D

use some of that Plastix stuff I just used it on the one I'm selling and it made it look perfect

get a buffer and use some buffing compound.... after using the 3m sanding kit of course. They will look brand new.

saw a product at oshcosh that took out deep scratches on plastic damm good job. but can't remember the name of it. plastix is made by mequiars and does a good job on small and shallow scratches, jdsslow

Buffer... plastic is thick, you an wet sand and buff out imperfections that you would never get out of paint.

Get you a new one with all tabs and crystal clear lens for $527 :) That's just something I would do if the car was worth it to me.

ill have to call them monday for 2 reasons, i called tasca because they happen to be my local dealer and they told me they are discontinued. and also, when i try to purchase it through the site, it does not specify color which is wierd to me as they are color coded, i will call them monday to see whats up. But damn good find!!!

I bought my new grille and headlight housings from them. Normally, they will ask you for your VIN# before they make a sale. I had to give my VIN twice to them for the grille and again for the headlight housings. Maybe the VIN# will tell them everything they need to know, not really sure if the VIN gives the color code or not. They ship promptly but if they're local to you, no shipping would be needed.

just some tricks do not wipe plastic DRY or when dusty. if it is for vision do not polish in circles. use clean 100% cotton without softener. do not use regular wax on plastic. if possible use demin water and spray liberaly before wipeing. good way to get chewed out is to wipe a fighter canopy dry. old plane capt scholling. jd

Did you ask them to remove it from their site and to stop pricing it like they do have it? I figured they would have had it since they had it listed and priced. They have Gen 1 parts. Since I got headlight housings from them and the grille, I figured I would shoot for the front corner markers and they have those too. They also have new chrome brows for right at $100. The email they sent me back about the corner lamp housings reads this

"F3LY15A201D & F3LY15A201C would be the LH and RH they are $199.47 and $200.35 and do come with the chrome piece. hope this helps thank you"

I might get one now and one later but it's something that I really don't need.

Keep an eye on this. It might be parted.

i think the gen 2 got the shaft because they are more rare. only 2 years to the body stlyle, so they probably stopped making their parts first...
