Can i Remove and Press in a new control arm bushing at home. this is the front shock bottom bolt goes through. Especially while it on the car.
I just have to remove the tire, take the bolt out of the shock pull it a little to the side and i have access. Any advice on how to do it at home...

You can use a ball-joint press kit, that'll work, can "rent" them from vatozone or Oreilly and get your $ back when you return the tool, just remove the arm from the car, press in new bushings and take for alignment

I want to do it on the car. I got the area as long as the tool fits.

.....remove the arm from the car.....press in new bushings, replace arm, take car for alignment

I want a 50 lb bag of $100s, but I don't get one do I

why buy a new arm you ask? because the arms are easy to bend and cause it to be verrrry diffuclt to have a correct alignment done saves the trouble of having to remove it and losing the new bushing when you do. save money and time replace the arm.

Skip Autozone. Go to Oreillys or Advanced for the tool rental. I went to autozone last weekend. They don't have a full grasp of the tools they rent. Advanced has a much more complete set for ball joints, etc.

Ball joint = $40
Complete arm = $60 (or so).

T-Bird arms are cheaper and the same part.
