How about Midwest Meet?????????

How about a meet ??

Its not the end of summer bash I was hoping for, but we could meet on the Sat, Aug 28th at Lombard Cruise Night -I think it starts about 6:00pm. They have a live band and alot of interesting cars, but very few lincolns and cadillacs -- so we could make a nice impression.

I would like this to be a chance to organize the Midwest chapter, and formulate a plan to make the chapter work.

Anyone interested?


Also, anyone living in IL, WI, MI, MN, IA, MO, IN, OH, and Ky should sign uo for the midwest chapter --- to do so go to your USER CP and on the left side choose Group Memberships. There you can choose to sign up for the midwest chapter and have access to the midwest chapter forum.
 
Day before my birthday. I'll do what I can to be there. I'm prepping my car right now for an interior overhaul (new seats, dash, door panels) so my car won't look like the "party mobile" this time :HB :)
 
Thats too short of a notice for me. :pat: I have the middle of September off for vacation time.

I know you don't remember but I work a seven day schedule and I go back to work that week on the 27th for seven days then I am off for seven days. I'm at work now. Bummer

Its the last cruise night of the summer I think...... so we cant go into september is we want to go to a show. I thought we could all meet, talk a little site business, then hang out at the show.........

Anyone who can make it is urged to try because we're gonna talk about the formation of the midwest chapter, probably select someone to head it up, at least temporarily, and try to find the best way to do things.
 
Joey, I'll do my best to be there but I don't know because I'll have to be out of town on the 25th and I don't know when I'll be back or what mood I'll be in when I get back.
 
We could always do the 22nd or the 29th, those are sundays and there is no crusie night, but we could still get together on those days if its better for everyone.............

I'd rather do it on a cruise night to get our name out there. Sure its nice to get together but I think its more important to represent, especailly if we get so many cars that we take the cruise over!

Unfortunately its not looking like we can get more then a few people on the last cruise night.........

Sorry guys, I been away for a while. I will definently be interested to meet up. The 28 -29th would be best for me. The 22nd I got a family party. Keep me informed about what's going on.
 
Well, a couple guys on Lincolns Online are gonna meet up at Great Lakes Dragaway on the 29th. Perhaps a 2 for 1 is in order.
 
The 28th is best for me the 22nd is out as I will be Mark'in in Colorado.

The 29th is ok but I'm going to be one tired teacher on my first day back in school on the 30th. LOL yes I know you have lots of sympathy for me on that issue. I have to go back to work.

Id go but my car is in sad shape atm. Had someone try to steal rims (they got my center caps). So I took them off and sold them. Then 2 weeks later had someone bust out my window, steal my stereo, breaking the dash in process, stole my mids and high amp and cause plenty more damage to random things inside. So im kinda depressed about my car.... And money is not good atm so no idea how long it will be out (I cant drive a car with no stereo!).
 
Hey guys have not been here in a while, but I'm in on this meet, my girl will probably be there too with her Town Car. :smilies-3 I am glad to hear that we are having another meet. The 28th is fine for me, The 22nd is not bad either, just need to know what time and where, I have never been to the Lombard cruise night, where is it? :dj: :steering:

So who can come on the 28th??? Thats a Sat - Show runs from 6:00-10:00 or so, live bands, etc. There is a restaurant there (which has cheap) that we can all meet at -- but if we only have 3 or 4 people coming......... ???

I'll most likely be there and try and get Brad to head up also. Maybe I'll bring up a few friends.

I seen something interesting on the road today. A 1st Gen had a 2nd Gen front end on it primered' up. I thought it looked pimp. Neat lil' project that had to be. So he got the best of both worlds, a fast Gen 1 and HID's from the 2nd Gen. LOL :ban:
 
I would just like to get as many of is together as possible - I'd like to get the midwest chapter rolling and use it as a blueprint for how to organize other chapters.

We have nearly 700 members, and we need to make the chapters happen!

Man, I wish I could, Sorry this is the first meet I cant make. I dont have the money to drive all the way out there. Car insurance payments came, have like 35 bucks for the next 2 weeks.
